the son of Portuguese immigrants, born and raised in Oregon with a blue collar upbringing that he filled with creativity and laughter. 

David started pursuing acting in high school and was given a scholarship to attend the University of Portland where he received a B.A. in Theatre followed by a move to New York to receive an M.F.A. at the Actor's Studio Drama School.

After working in regional theatre in the northeast post grad school, David made the move to Los Angeles for a short stint before landing a spot as a resident acting company member at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He was brought back to his Oregon roots where he remained a company member for 5 years.

As opportunities arose, the pull back to Los Angeles was too great. In a few short years David has booked roles on television shows such as Superstore, Criminal Minds, Castle,  Days of Our Lives, Scorpion, CSI:Cyber, Angie Tribeca, Angel From Hell(Pilot), Loot, The Fugitive and the cult classic Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark. David also is a writer having collaborated on projects for indie shots and reality tv.

David also is a stellar stand-up comedian having performed up and down the west coast, including being chosen as a finalist for the Uncle Clyde’s Comedy Contest at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank 2019. David’s natural stand-up performance style also serves as a gift for hosting for events/fundraisers and parties.

When not working on projects David is an Acting coach helping guide the next generation of actors, including teaching workshops in India for Bollywood actors and Mexico City. David’s outside interests include a love of dogs, helping people build better relationships with their dogs and as an advocate for shelter and rescue dogs. David is a avid golfer, and has a lifelong love of Dungeons and Dragons.
